Mommy

I finally got my hair cut. It has been a very eventful two weeks. Right before I was supposed to get my hair cut I slipped on the stairs and broke my foot. Fun times. Of course because I am pregnant I can't have any drugs and just my luck. I tried using crutches but because I have that herniated umbilical cord it made my stomach hurt real bad. So basically I laid around while my loving mommy took care of me. My foot is much better now. It is still black and blue but doesn't hurt near as much and the swelling has gone done so much that I can wear a shoe again. Woo woo. Anyway... here is the pictures I promised of my hair and belly. My hair is shorter than I originally wanted it but much more manageable. I figure it grows so fast while pregnant I might as well chop it all off. My belly is HUGE!! I can't believe how big it is some days. I am still doing good though. I weighed myself today and have only gained 10 lbs. Not bad for the amount of food I eat. All in all I can't complain. I have two healthy kids, a hubby who sends me the sweetest messages and cards, and a mommy who keeps me sane and feeds me constantly. Life is good as we step into 2009.

Maryland Visit

Lliam and I made it safely to Maryland. The flight wasn't bad at all. Lliam was super happy and loved the plane ride. We have been keeping busy here in Maryland visiting everyone. We went to Barb and Eddie's house for Thanskgiving... I'll get the pics to post soon. We have been playing outside when it's warm enough and running around shopping for Christmas. It is really nice getting a break everynight when my mom comes home. Plus, she gets to play with her grandbaby. All in all we can't complain. I am going this weekend to get a haircut and then I'll post a picture of me. The doctors complained that I wasn't gaining any weight. My belly gets bigger but no weight gain. I think Maryland has taken care of that problem. Hopefully a new haircut will slim me down. Wishful thinking. Luke is doing good. Lots of kicking and lots of hiccuping. Maybe if I am feeling brave I'll get a belly shot.

William

William is doing well. We get to talk about 1-2 times a week. He stays pretty busy working 3rd shift so his time is off. He is currently at FOB Warhorse. If anyone wants his new address please let me know. He sends his love to everyone.

Dancing Fool

I bought this for Lliam for Christmas. It didn't last though. We were up in the room and he saw it. He loves to dance and jump around.

Family Photos

Before William left we went and had pictures done at Wal-Mart. I have been putting it off and putting it off but we finally did it. I am not really happy with the way I look but my two favorite boys turned out perfect. They both did really good at pictures. No one even cried... although William did complain about not going to the electronic section.... boys. Anyway. Here they are. We some pics for everyone that I will mail out.

Daddy Travels

Lliam and I dropped William off at post around 10:00 pm. on Monday. He arrived in Kuwait at 1:40 am. (our time) on Wednesday. He had a 4 hour layover in Ireland but other than that the trip was uneventful. He sends his love to everyone. He won't be able to contact anyone until he gets to Iraq. We just found out that he will first go to Camp Freedom 1, which is North of Baghdad in Baquba. He will spend half the year there and then go to Spiker for the second half of the year. His mail takes a bit longer to get to Camp Freedom so make sure you leave enough time for things to get to him.

Silly Boys

Happy Halloween

After 30 minutes of the doctor pushing and pulling, me rolling from side to side, and Lliam yelling at him, we finally had to give up. This little boy was not going to move so we could get the pictures we needed. He even started opening and closing his mouth like he was crying or cussing depending on who you ask. We took pity on him and rescheduled for another day. This is him mid-cry. Not as cute as a newborn crying. Hehe.

Boy oh Boy

It's a boy!!!! Meet Lucas Eugene. We went in for our ultrasound and everything looks good. They said he was healthy and progressing well. He seemed big but not developed further than should be. Just a big boy... with big ears and big feet. Wonder where that comes from.
The doctor was trying to get all the pictures she needed and baby boy was not helping out. He decided he was going to curl up and didn't care what we did to him. The doctor ended up not getting any pictures of the heart so I have to go back in 4 weeks to get another ultrasound. Wonder where he gets the stubborness from? Hmmm... Other than that all was well. The projected due date is still February 28th.

Big Boy Room

We decided with the new baby coming we needed to do some rearranging. So we moved all the "baby" stuff into the hall room for the new baby and got Lliam big boy stuff. We chose a Spongebob theme so he could grow into it... plus Daddy really likes Spongebob. Grammy Cathy and Poppy gave Lliam the wall stickers. They are great. They can be removed without ruining the paint. I even got crafty and made his old toy chest into a bench with a comfy Spongebob seat. We are still shopping for a lamp to make the room complete. We put the mattress on the floor that way we didn't have to worry about him rolling out of a high bed. As soon as William put the mattress down Lliam jumped on it and started bouncing. Guess he isn't missing the crib. Lliam has all his books and toys in cubbies. Believe it or not he actually helps me pick up. As soon as we find out what baby number 2 is we will finish that room. It's like getting a new house with all the rearranging we have done.

Florida

We had so much fun going to Florida. William, myself, Lliam, Grammy Cathy, Poppy, Uncle Ben and Aunt Jackie were all there and ready to have a good time. We went to see Pirates Dinner show and My big Fat Grease Wedding Show. It was great. We also went to Orlando Zoo, Universal, Suessville, and Magic Kingdom. We really did have a great time. Lliam wore us all out. It took all of us just to keep up with him.

Fun Visit

We had a great time getting to visit with everyone. Lliam's friends and family all showed up for his first birthday. And boy did he make out like a bandit. Lliam got lots of great things. We thank everyone for coming and sharing in Lliam's special day. As soon as I go through all the pictures I will post some. With all the crazyness I am still working on thank you cards... but know that we really appreciate everything and Lliam loved it all.

Walking

Lliam really is growing up fast. He can walk like a pro and is always on the go. He still crawls when he wants to get somewhere fast. His favorite thing is to walk and swing his arms while he claps.

Promotion

William was promoted to 1LT on July 2nd.
Lt. Colonel Corson pinned William in my absence.
