Luke finally lost his belly wound yesterday. Fun fun... bath time. Unfortunately, Luke doesn't like the bath as much as Lliam. Lliam loved his first bath and continues to be a water baby. Luke, on the other hand, acted as though he was dying. After taking stripping him, cleaning him, and then dressing him he finally calmed down enough to eat and pass out. Luke has been doing good on sleeping. He has a great routine. Down at 9 up at 11, down at 12 up at 4, down at 5 up at 10 then he is up every two hours. He has a long stretch where he just looks around and chatters (oh yeah he is a talker like his brother... don't know where they get it) from 5-9. Luke went in for his checkup and all is well. He is growing like a weed. We even have to put him in 0-3 and 3 month clothes so that it will fit. Angie, Melanie's sister, gave Luke this pooh outfit. 9lbs. 14 oz. and 22 1/4 inches. He got a clean bill of health and was commended for his strength from the doctor. He is gonna be a big guy. Not like his skinny brother. Although I think both of them are going to be taller than me by the time they are 12. I have two healthy happy boys and life couldn't be better. I am doing great. I am back down to pre-pregnancy weight... not where I want to be but it is a start. I am all healed and love the extra energy from weight loss. I am still really anemic but am taking my meds to fix that. Soon I will be all better and ready to start exercising.

Big brother
Lliam is doing extremly well. He has really turned out to be a great big brother. He brings me things and helps out with Luke. Of course he calls him Guckas. Fun times there. Lliam and I have our morning routine still. He gets his cereal and sippy with milk and watches Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Then around 10 Luke gets up and Lliam moves to the floor to watch cartoons. All in all no complaints. We did have a small accident the other day. We were at the park and Lliam did a nose dive onto some concrete. Typical war wound. He is all boy!!

First outing
Lucas
Lucas has shown that he is a real sweety. He loves to snuggle and just be held and loved on. But boy can he eat. He is eating 4oz. every 2 hours. Craziness. They said if he is hungry feed him... so we do. Luke likes to stare at his big brother whenever he can. It really is sweet. Right now he mostly just eats and sleeps. We are all excited to see how he grows.
Lliam
Lliam is doing great as a big brother. He helps me out so much. He brings me whatever I need. He stays quiet when Luke is asleep... for the most part. Lliam even comes over and talks really sweet to Luke when he starts crying. He really has shown me what a big boy he is. Lliam still loves his bath time though. This is a special time with just Mommy and

He's Here!!
After going to my doctor appointment on Wednesday the 25th the doctor decided that he just wasn't going to come out on his own and we scheduled an inducing for the 4th.
Surprise surprise... I had minor contractions Wednesday night and just ignored them. Well Luke decided he was ready and at 4 am. on Thursday we drove to the hospital. By the time I got there I was already 4 minutes apart and ready to roll. Delivery wasn't that bad...compared to Lliam I don't think it could have been. Barb was there to help me through the whole thing. I really couldn't have done it without her. She was my rock when William couldn't be there. Lucas Eugene was born at 3:11 pm. Perfect delivery, a few tears but no tearing. Woo woo. Luke was born 8 lbs. 5.5 oz. and 21 1/2 inches. He is long and thin like his big brother. Lliam is adjusting well. I feel great. Sore, but not near what I expected. I will post more pictures when I have some time. With two boys under two the fun has just begun.
